What belongs in an ice cream cone? Just ice cream, right? Not after you see this video. You wouldn’t believe how delicious and genius these birthday cupcake cone treats are. They combine two classic sweets with no messy cupcake wrappers or brain freeze, and a whole lot of yum. Not to mention that they’re a cinch to make. Birthday Cupcake Cones:
Here’s what you’ll need:
-1 cake mix (your favorite flavor)
-Water, eggs, oil, etc. needed for cake mix
-Multicolored sprinkles
-1 cup powdered sugar
-1/4 cup softened butter
-1-2 tbsp. milk
-3/4 tsp. vanilla
Here’s what to do:
Prepare cake mix as instructed on box, adding in sprinkles. Mold aluminum foil into cupcake tins, leaving space to insert the cones.
Fill cones with cupcake batter and bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, combine powdered sugar, butter, milk and vanilla and beat until smooth and creamy.
When cupcakes have cooled, put frosting into a large plastic bag, cut the tip off and pipe the frosting on like soft serve ice cream. Add more sprinkles on top and devour!
