Here’s what you’ll need:

- 1 oz. Vodka
- 1-2 tablespoons diced strawberries & fresh basil
- fill with club soda
- garnish with strawberry or strawberry slice if desired
Strawberry Basil Syrup:
- 2 cups water
- 4-6 strawberries, sliced
- 5-7 basil leaves
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
Process strawberries and basil in a food processor until completely pureed; strain to release as much juice as possible. Put juice in a saucepan; stir in sugar. Bring to a simmer and reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer about 5 minutes. Strain again and cool to room temperature.
Here’s what to do:
In a small sauce pot, add the water and sugar and bring to a boil. Add the strawberries and basil, simmer for 10 minutes. Cool and strain. Combine with vodka, soda and strawberries and enjoy!
