Here’s what you’ll need:
1 can of biscuit dough
Nocciolata hazelnut spread
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cinnamon
Canola oil
Here’s what to do:
Pop open can of biscuit dough. Cut each perforated biscuit into four pieces and roll them into balls about the size of a dollar coin. Next, heat up the oil in the pan. (We recommend testing the oil with a bit of dough to make sure it’s warm enough.) The dough should sizzle when it hits the oil.
Depending on the size of your pan, throw in a few at a time. With a fork, try to not have them touch each other. Once they are a golden brown and transfer them to a paper towel lined plate. Lightly pat the excess oil off the donut, then toss in a bowl of cinnamon and sugar - then transfer to another plate.
After you complete all the donuts, microwave a bowl of your favorite chocolate spread, like Nutella. (We used Nicoletta hazelnut spread, but Nutella would be just as delicious)
Fill a piping bag with the spread. Using a a narrow nozzle, fill each donut with the Nutella until they puff up and expand.
