5. Gluten-Free (And Vegan!) Brownies
“These gluten free vegan brownies from Petite Allergy Treats made with her flour blend using teff flour are epic! that’s the first time I’ve used the word, but yes, sensational brownies. something about the teff flour I think and flour to fat ratio. also this recipe is allergy free: nut/seed, dairy, egg, gluten free. I cant even eat chocolate so I subbed carob powder for the cocoa powder (at 1/2 of what the recipe calls for) and halved the sugar (because carob isn’t bitter like chocolate so it doesn’t need so much sweetness to combat its bitterness). I always sub in recipes which is fun, putting my spin on everything I bake, like I’m a chef creating new recipes. I love that. the recipes from petite allergy treats are easy to sub ingredients for and change up quantities. I think its because of her gluten free flour blends and ratio of fat to flour. anyway, enjoy her blog.”
-Sharon
