My fiancé and I are going Down Under in Sydney, Australia this summer! We hope to embrace a new culture, explore the beautiful scenery and wildlife, and take in the journey we have had together for the past five years. This will be a stressful year of wedding planning but we can overcome anything as long as we have each other. Oh! I’m also going to Boston to present some pretty cool research I’ve been doing. 🙂 There is no stopping us from seeing the world and achieving our dreams!
My summer vaca will be spent at home and I will get together with friends often for book club, movie night, mexican train dominoes game day, and various other activities that have a minimal cost because last year after my nearly 20 year old car needed to be replaced, plus I have student loans to catch up on while I earn a mere minimum wage…. Very happy though to have a job and to work with an awesome team!
My family is visiting Portland, Oregon this summer. We visited Seattle last summer and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. My kids are entering middle school and high school so we wanted to spend as much time with them as we can before they stop wanting to hang out with us old folks.

In 2011, a pair of great people got married in Steamboat Springs, CO. Their wedding party wished to continuously celebrate their union and plan a reunion at the wedding site every five years. We’re wrapping up the week-long celebration tomorrow. It’s crazy the amount of change that can happen in such a short time. Then, there was only one married couple. Now, every person in the party is married, except myself. Tomorrow I’m intending to propose to my boyfriend. It’s exciting what might happen in the next five years!

My plan, should I try to accept it, will be to figure out when he is doing the bills….I will then slip into the “office” with delicious treats that we will be receiving from you and win him over with the food. If that doesn’t work….I will ply him with booze, lol.
