March 26th is Make Up Your Own Holiday Day, which for Love With Food means we have another excuse to celebrate our favorite thing - food! But we’re not sure what food to pick…so we want to let you decide!
Leave us a comment here by March 20th letting us know your best idea for a food holiday Love With Food should celebrate on the 26th, and the most creative idea will win a special snack box! We can’t wait to hear your ideas!
Absolutely LOVE anything with dark chocolate, pecans, almonds, walnuts, sweet potatoes, maple syrup, dried cherries, dried papaya, coconut, coconut manna, gluten free crackers & breads, hummus, brushetta, olives, medjool dates… ahhhh, the list goes on for healthy living foods! Would love to review one of your boxes!

and I forgot to mention another must have - beverages for hydration! Hint Water, Coconut water, alkalized water, herbal teas, organics coffees, and superfood powders to add to those waters!
Anything gluten free, egg free, covered in chocolate on a stick holiday.
I think we need to have a vegetable casserole day. Green bean casserole, squash casserole, sweet potato casserole, etc. My family enjoys these casseroles but they fall on our holiday dinner list and I seldom make them throughout the year. A special day as a reminder would be great!
I would love a dark chocolate and fruits holiday! Snacks with dark chocolate in it, and fruit snacks like dried fruit, fruit leather, fruit bars, etc.
I need to take a healthy snack to my “part time” “temp job” holiday !
I could defiantly use Gluten Free Goodies Day. Healthy but still yummy. What’s not to love???
Holidays are a time to spend with family and friends..it’s also a chance to enjoy every bite of rich desserts like Cappuccino Torte!! It has graham cracker crumbs, semisweet chocolate chips, coffee granules and you can even add whipped cream and garnish with chocolate curls if desired! 😀
I could totally use an Ode to Peanut Butter Holiday. I love peanut butter at all times of the day. I would love for my deluxe box to be filled with goodies that would satisfy my cravings.

My suggestion for a ‘food event’ is a walking meal.
When we visit a new city, often with our kids/their spouses, etc, we will do a “Walking Meal” Everyone goes on a walk through a busy area of the city, and we stop at every restaurant/food stand and buy just one item. Everyone gets a bite! Everyone gets to choose at least one place, and we try to end with something sweet or coffee.
Make your own rules, but ours include: No chain restaurants, consider other’s food limitations (save your extra weird choice when you’re on your own), aim for something new, have fun!!
We get to see more of a city, enjoy the sights, and have fun together.
