· Chicken 1/2 kg
· Onion 3
· Ghee 1cup
· Green Cardamom 6-7
· Khushkhush (poppy seeds) 2 Tsp
· Almonds 14-15 grain
· Roh Kewra 2tsp
· Ginger 1inch piece
· Garlic paste 1tbsp
· Salt 1tsp
· Red Pepper 2 or 2.5tsp
· Turmeric 1/2 tsp
· Garam masala 1tsp
· Yoghurt 1 bowl small
1. Brown the onion in a pan and crush them with a hand.
2. Boil the almonds then peel off the outer layer.
3. Poppy seed paste (Grind almond and poppy seeds)
4. Heat ghee in a pan and add cardamom.
5. Add garlic paste and ginger then add chicken.
6. Fry the chicken for a while.
7. Add salt, red pepper, turmeric and garam masala.
8. Mix them all and cook for a while.
9. Blend the yoghurt to remove lumps.
10. Add yoghurt in the chicken.
11. Add poppy seed paste in chicken.
12. Mix it and cook for a while.
13. Keep stirring and add fried onion in it.
14. Cook it for a while, and then add kewra in it and mix.
15. Cover the lid and cook on low heat for 5minutes.
16. Garnish with almonds and serve.
