What is LoveWithFood and how does it work?
LoveWithFood is a fun and amazingly tasty site! It's a place where foodies share and discover authentic recipes, stories behind these recipes and meet other passionate foodies and connect directly with food brands!
What makes the site pops in flavors is allowing you to add and save yummy food/ingredients to your fave lists and express how you use these ingredients in your recipes! After all, we believe that good food ought to be shared and we make it really simple with the use of the Love button. The button automatically downloads the essential details of a product, including its image, short description, and price and saves it to your fave list. LoveWithFood is free to join, right?
It's absolutely free to join. Whether you are a foodie with awesome recipes to share or food maker with delicious products to promote, it's absolutely free to join!
What types of Membership does LoveWithFood offer?
We offer 2 types of FREE membership - Foodie and Seller
Foodie - LoveWithFood is free for all to join. When you register, you get full access to the entire site, including your own free recipe box. You'll also get a free newsletter from us, keeping you posted on what's delicious.
Seller - It's FREE for all food makers and retailers to join. It's important for food makers and retailers to sign up as sellers so that we can officially verify your accounts. Once verified, the products you are promoting will be showcased on premium spots of the Marketplace.
Does LoveWithFood sell anything?
Good question. The answer is no. If you see any food items you like and want to buy, simply click on the image of the product or the "Buy It" button and you'll go to the retailer's page.

Who adds items to the marketplace?
Items in the marketplace are added by YOU. If you come across or make a great product that you would like to recommend to the community, add it to the marketplace. This helps us all discover interesting and unique ingredients and food items. Good food ought to be shared!
How do I add an item to the marketplace?
a) Login or Sign Up for an account.
b) On the Top navigation bar, under "Market", click on "ADD an Item".
c) Enter details of the item in the form. The more information you provide, the more it'll help the community to find tasty products. At least one photo is required.
You can either upload photos of the item or tell us the link/url of the image. Click Save.
I have a question about a product or an order I placed on a product I found on LoveWithFood. Who should I contact?
LoveWithFood does not sell products. Hence, we are not able to help you with product or order issues. Any questions with products, orders, availability or pricing should be directed to the retailer selling the item. Click on the "Buy It" button to find the appropriate retailer and the associated contact information.
If the price listed on LoveWithFood is different from the price on the retailer's website, which price is correct?
The price on the retailer's website is always correct. The products you see on LoveWithFood are purely recommendations by our members. Mistakes can be made and prices can change, so always check the retailer's site for the current pricing and availability.

Who should sign up as a foodie?
Anyone is welcomed to peruse through the contents of LoveWithFood. However, if you are not a food maker/seller but would like to participate in our community, e.g. share recipes, save recipes to your recipe box, provide reviews or join the delicious conversations, you'll need to sign up as a member.
Is foodie membership FREE?
YES, foodie membership is absolutely FREE to join!
Why sign up as a foodie?
Being a member, you'll have access to all features of the site. You'll be able to
1) contribute recipes and stories
2) recommend delicious food products
3) save receipes to your recipe box
4) save items to your fave list

Who should sign up as a seller?
If you are a food maker, food brand and/or food retailer, you should sign up as a seller.

YES, seller membership is absolutely FREE to join!
Why sign up as a seller?
One of the goals of LoveWithFood is to connect Foodies from all over the world with unique food products and food makers who make them.
1) By identifying yourself as a seller to us, you are immediately creating a brand and store presence within LoveWithFood.
2) As a seller, the items you promote in the marketplace will automatically get showcased in premium spots of the site.
3) Your brand can immediately interact with an engaged community of purchase-minded foodies/consumers.
4) You can immediately engage customers or prospective customers in an interactive conversation about your brand and products.
5) It gives your business the chance to communicate casually with customers on their terms, creating friendly relationships along the way. Such a casual conversation with customers is tough for businesses to do in most other mediums.

Why it's important to have a verified account?
The first step to any relationship is trust. We want to make sure your identity on LoveWithFood is 'real' and authentic and that the community is interacting with the REAL THING and not some kind of impersonator. In order to build this trust within our community, we highly recommend our sellers to verify their accounts.

What is a story?
We believe recipes have stories behind them. Whether it's an event, a cooking adventure or some fond memories, they all give meaning to our recipes. Ask yourself, when you look at a recipe, what do you remember, what fond memories does it bring back? Maybe it's family tradition, cooking adventure or simply a recipe inspired by a TV show, share with us, we love to hear your wonderful stories behind your recipes.
What's the rule on recipe sharing and attribution?
Good food is meant to be shared. Please give credit when credit is due. You can easily give attribution and add the source of your recipe in the Chef Note section when entering a new recipe. We asked that you abide by the rules that most cookbook authors and food writers follow:
a) If you are modifying someone else's recipe, it should be called "adapted from".
b) If you have made a similar recipe but it was inspired by another recipe, you should state that it's "inspired by".
c) If you have changed 3 ingredients or more, in most cases, the recipe is yours.
Do provide a link/url to the original recipe page. If the recipe is from a cookbook, you can link to the book on Amazon and/or the author's website.
How do I add a story and recipe?
a) Login or Sign Up for an account.
b) On the Top navigation bar, under "Recipes", click on "ADD Recipe".
c) First, you'll be asked to enter the story for the recipe. In the form, you can also upload photos relating to your story. Click Next.
d) Then, you'll be asked to enter the recipe. In the form, you can also upload photos relating to your recipe. Then click Save.
How do I add more recipes to the same story?
There are 2 ways to do this:
a) If you are on the story page, in the Toolbox section, you'll see "Add Recipes". Click on that to add more recipes to this story.
b) If you are on the recipe page, in the Toolbox section, you'll see "Add New". Click on that to add more recipes to this story.
How do I add or change the photos for each recipe or story?
Story Photos - To add or delete photos for a story, go to the story page. In the Toolbox section, click on "Photos". On this page, you can delete or add more photos. Drag and drop the photos to reorder them. Remember, the first photo is always used as the cover picture.

How do I change information like Name, E-mail address and Username?
To change your name, email address or username, click on 'Settings' in your profile box on the right top corner of the page. Then click on 'Basic' at the top of the page. Click 'Save' to save the changes.
How do I turn on/ turn off email notifications?
To change your email notifications, click on 'Settings' in your profile box on the right top corner of the page. Then click on 'Basic' to make the changes. In the Staying Connected section, check/un-check your preferences. Click 'Save' to save the changes.
How do I change my password?
To change your email notifications, click on 'Settings' in your profile box on the right top corner of the page. Then click on 'Password' at the top of the page. Enter the old and new passwords. Click on 'Change password' to save the changes.
How do I change my profile picture?
To change your profile picture, click on 'Settings' in your profile box on the right top corner of the page. Click on 'Browse' to select a new photo, then click 'Save' at the bottom of the page to save the changes.
