· Chicken 750gm(cut into sixteen pieces)
· Rice 1/2 kg
· Salt 1tsp
· Onion brown 1 cup
· Oil 3/4 cup
· Ginger Paste 1 tbsp
· Garlic paste 1 tbsp
· Yoghurt 1 cup
· All Spice powder 1 tsp
· Chili powder 2tsp
· White Cumin powder 2tsp
· Green Chilies 8 (ground)
· Coriander leaves half bunch
· Potatoes 3
· Whole Spice 1tbsp
· Green Chilies whole 6
· Yellow Color a pinch
· Kewra Water 1tbsp
1. Marinate chicken pieces with yogurt, garlic, ginger paste, green chilles, salt, chilli powder, cumin powder, all spice powder then keep aside for 1 hour.
2. Boil rice with 1tbsp salt and whole spices till half done.
3. Peel and cut potatoes in halves.
4. Soak in a pinch of yellow color solution then fry till golden.
5. Heat oil in a pan, add marinated chicken with brown onion and cook till tender. To Assemble: In a pan put half rice, cover with chicken mixture, then potatoes, fried onion, chopped green masala.
6. Now put remaining rice on top.
7. Then add yellow color mixture and simmer it or 15minutes.
8 Put Kewra water, delicious Bombay Biryani is ready.
9. Serve with raita and salad.
