  • Ingredients


    Very simple, healthy & flavorful dish.

    1 block Japanese "silk" tofu into pieces

    2 fresh green scallions

    Dark thick soy sauce

    sesame oil for drizzling

    bonito flakes ( fish flakes) you can find at most ( Asian markets,

    Dry seaweed "Nori" ( Asian markets already has the seaweed in pieces in a container ). Optional

    Tofu must be cold. This tofu dish is great for summer.





    Directions


    Chop the green onion into tiny slices.

    Cut the tofu in small squares than cut again in half ( middle part of the tofu ) keeping all intact. ( square )

    Place each cut squares into small bowls. ( one block of tofu can make 4 servings ).

    !. add thick soy sauce on top ( just a dab )
    2. add green onions
    3. drizzle sesame
    4. add bonito fish flakes on top
    5 add seaweed flakes or just crumble the seaweed on top.

    Chef's Note & Story

    Great with green tea or a side with a bowl of noodles. We sometimes have this for breakfast with miso soup.
