  • Ingredients

    Special Crust Ingredients
    1/4 cup butter
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    3 cups miniature marshmallows
    4 cups corn flakes

    Filling
    1 pkg instant banana pudding
    1 3/4 cup milk
    5 bananas
1 small can chunk pineapple, drained very well
    Maraschino cherries
    Chocolate syrup
1/4 cup pecans, chopped in small pieces
    1/2 cup Cool Whip
    1/4 cup lemon juice

    Directions

Melt butter, peanut butter, and marshmallows together and add cornflakes. Press into a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan.

Mix pudding and milk until thick. Fold in 1/2 cup Cool Whip. Dip bananas into lemon juice and allow to drain. Alternate layers of pudding, bananas, and pineapple ending with banans on the top layer. Frost with remaining Cool Whip. Top with maraschino cherries and pecans.

    Chef's Note

You can also make this using a graham cracker crust.

    3 cups crushed graham crackers
    1/2 cup sugar
    2/3 cup butter, melted

In a bowl, combine the crumbs and sugar; add butter and blend well. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until crust is lightly browned. Cool before filling.
