Ingredients
1/3 Cup Pepperoni
1/3 Cup Mozzarella
¼ Cup Red Onion
½ Cup Diced Tomatoes With Basil, Garlic and Oregano
24 Wonton Wrappers
Oil For Deep Frying
Marinara Sauce For Dipping
Directions
Dice the pepperoni, mozzarella and red onion and put in a medium size bowl. Add the diced tomatoes. Mix well.
Take the wonton wrappers and place 12 down and put about 1 tablespoonful of the pepperoni mix in the middle of each wonton. Take a small bowl of water and use your finger to take some of the water to rub the edges of each wonton. Put a wonton on top and seal the edges. The water helps with this.
In a medium pan heat about 1 and ½ inch worth of oil until very hot. Add the wontons, topside down. (Depending on the pan size, about 4 at a time). Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook until golden brown.
Serve with a bowl of hot Marinara sauce for dipping.
