· Undercut steak pieces 1kg
· Yoghurt 100gm
· Papaya paste tbsp
· Onion fried and ground 1
· Ginger/garlic paste 2tbsp
· Roasted and crushed cumin seeds 2tbsp
· Crushed red chilies 1tbsp
· Hot spices powder 1tsp
· Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
· Roasted and brown Bengal grams 4tbsp
· Mustard oil 4tbsp
· Salt to taste
1. Marinate steak pieces with papaya paste atleast 4hours.
2. Mix steak pieces, onion, yoghurt, ginger/garlic paste, mustard oil, turmeric powder, hot spices powder, red chillies, cumin seeds, grams and salt in a bowl.
3. After 1 hour you can either put them on skewers and cook them over coals steam and fry them.
4. You can also cook it in the oven.
5. Garnish with sliced lemon, coriander leaves, green chillies, and sliced onions.
6. Serve delicious Bihari boti with roti, salad, raita, tamarind/mint chutney.
