Easy Peel and Eat Shrimp from G-Free Foodie

I’m super-excited about the Montana Mex seasoning salt blends included in the May shipment. They are packed full of flavor and perfect for steaks, roasted veggies and my favorite application: seafood. Give these deliciously simple peel & eat shrimp a try - they are perfect for a quick lunch, a simple snack or party food (just add white wine and friends.)

Easy Peel & Eat Shrimp with Montana Mex Seasoning Salt

  • 1 1/2 pounds (16-20 or 21-25 count) raw shrimp, deveined
  • 2 green onions, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 2 oranges, one sliced, one halved
  • 2 heaping tablespoons Montana Mex Seasoning Salt
  • good quality olive oil

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

In a large bowl, toss the shrimp, green onions, orange slices and the juice of the halved orange with 2 teaspoons of the olive oil and the Montana Mex Seasoning Salt. Making sure the seasoning salt is distributed evenly.

Drizzle a little more oil on a rimmed sheet pan. Arrange the shrimp on the pan in one layer, ensuring that the orange slices are spread evenly throughout. Roast for 8 to 10 minutes, just until pink and firm and cooked through. Finish with a little more seasoning salt if desired, and Enjoy! Serves 4-6.
