4 bratwurst
4 slices extra sharp cheddar cheese
4 slices bacon
4 hoagie rolls
Toppings:
Sauerkraut
diced raw onion
mustard
diced pepper jack or cheddar cheese
Salsa
Make a slit in each bratwurst in the middle, but don;t do all the way to the ends, just make it 2 to 2 1/2 inches long.
Stuff a piece of cheese in the pocket.
Wrap a slice of bacon to completely enclose the cheese.
Fry for 4 to 6 minutes
Serve with your choi9ce of toppings
