1 sausage(sweet, hot, Italian, etc.)
1 egg
1 hamburger bun or English muffin
Pad of butter
1 1/4 tsp oil
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
1) Cut the casting off your sausage, and mold it to form a patty. Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
2) Meanwhile in a pan, place your butter and let it melt. Cut side face down put your hamburger bun or English muffin into the pan. Brown until golden brown.
3) Take your sausage patty and place in a hot skillet. Do not put oil, the patty will cook in the grease it will release. Cook for about 10 minutes or until fully cooked and brown on the outside.
4) In another skillet, pour the oil and cook your sunny side up egg until the whites are set, but the yolk is still runny.
5) Assembly:
Place the bottom of your bun or muffin on a plate. Place the patty on top of it. Followed by the egg. Season the egg with salt and pepper to taste, and top with the other half of the bun/muffin.
