1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter(cold and cubed)
3 tbsp milk
2 tbsp butter(melted) or an egg wash(an egg whisked with water or cream)
1) In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
2) Add the milk slowly, while tossing with a fork until a ball forms.
3)Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface; knead 5-6 times. Roll/pat into your desired thickness.
4) Cut out your biscuits. Brush with butter or egg wash.
5) bake at 450 degrees farenheit for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
6) serve warm.
