Ingredients
1 Head Green Cabbage
1 Head Purple Cabbage
1 Lb Carrots
1 Stalk Celery
1 Large Can Diced Tomatoes
1 Small Can Stewed Tomatoes
1 Onion
1 Bulb garlic
1 Package or 1 Cans Chicken Broth (Can substitute vegetable broth for vegetarian alternative)
4 Tbs Lemon Pepper
Salt to taste
Directions
Chop onion, peeled garlic and celery, leave on leafy tips. Saute in a large soup pot,
Add chicken broth, lemon pepper, and tomatoes.
Peel and chop carrots, add to pot.
Core both cabbages and give them a good chop. Add to pot.
Add enough water to saturate all vegetables, but do not cover cabbage, it will cook down.
Put the heat low to simmer, and allow soup to cook for at least an hour, or longer until all veggies are very soft and the colors meld really well.
Salt to taste.
