1 - 2 lbs. Sirloin Steak tips or favorite cut of Skillet steak
1 bag of Romaine lettuce salad mix
Ranch dressing (or blue cheese)
1 small bottle Franks Red Hot or other spicy marinade
Olive Oil cooking spray, to coat pan
Salad toppers (crumbled bacon, croutons, whatever your favorite is)
Recommended Products
Marinade the steak in the Franks Red Hot for 30 minuets.
Pan fry the steak in an Olive Oil coated pan until cooked to desired done-ness (I recommend Well or Well-Done at least so the salad doesn't get bloody while you eat it...eeewww.
Slice the steak against the grain to 1/2 inch thick slices.
Divide the salad bag onto 2 plates.
Put an equal amount of sliced steak on top of salad, nestled in the middle.
Top with your favorite salad toppers, if desired, & Ranch dressing.
Grab your fork & your steak knife & dig in. Soo good!

Chef's Note & Story
This recipe is quick for a busy week night, since you can set the steak to marinade for longer in the fridge if you want, & is filling, yet still light enough for a summer evening.
This is great. It's so easy and tastes good. I used leftover steak so it didn't took much time to prepare.
This is delicious! The meat makes the salad so much more than just a salad. I just put balsamic vinagerette and a cup of feta cheese!
