Strawberry Lemon Marmalade

4 cups crushed strawberries
1 cup finely sliced lemon peel
2 cups lemon pulp
1 tbsp lemon juice
6 cups sugar
1 package powdered pectin

Combine peel and pulp, add enough water to cover. Boil 5-8 minutes until peel is tender and drain. Combine with strawberries and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and gradually stir in pectin. Add sugar and return to a hard boil for exactly 1 minute. Skim off any foam. Ladle into half pint jars and process in a hot water bath for 10 minutes.
