15 whole heads of garlic
2 round loaves of sourdough
1 lb. of cream cheese
1 lb. of goats cheese
1 stick margarine
1 cup olive oil
2 TBSP marjoram
2 TBSP oregano
2 TBSP basil
4 TBSP dill weed (not seed)
Directions:
Clean excess outer covering off garlic keeping the heads intact.
Cut tips off of garlic heads so the cloves are open but still intact. Place garlic in baking dish tips up. Add olive oil, margarine, and half of each of the herbs to the garlic. Cover
baking dish with tin foil and bake at 350 ˚ for an hour. Uncover and bake at 350˚for an additional half hour to caramelize. While this is baking mix goat cheese and cream cheese together. Add the other half of herbs to the cheese mixture. Hollow out one sourdough loafto make a bread bowl and slice the other.
To Serve:
Place bread bowl in center of a platter. Put cheese and herb mixture in bread bowl.Place roasted garlic heads around bread bowl. Serve sliced bread next to it. Guests take sliced sourdough, spread cheese mixture on it and mush roasted garlic on top to eat.
Warning:
Couples might want to make sure they both have some so they are able to sleep next to each other.
