2 (8 ounce) packages of cream cheese
2 (8 ounce) cans of crescent rolls
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1/4 to 1/2 cup honey
Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and use rolling pin to shape into a solid 9x13 rectangle of dough.
Place in the bottom of a pre-greased 9x13 dish.
Mix together the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and the vanilla extract until smooth.
Spread cream cheese mixture on top of dough.
Unroll last can of crescent dough and again use rolling pin to smooth into a top layer.
Place on top of cream cheese mixture.
Mix together 3/4 cup of sugar, cinnamon and butter and dot on top of dough.
Bake in pre-heated oven at 375 degrees F until dough is puffed and golden brown (typically 30 to 45 minutes depending on oven).
Remove from oven and drizzle with honey as desired.
Cool completely before cutting into 12 to 15 squares.
