4 1/2 Tble. Butter
1/2 Tble. Bacon drippings
1 egg
5 TBLE Brown Sugar
4 TBLE maple syrup
1/4 c. flour
1 tea. Baking powder
pinch of salt
1/4 c. Milk
1/4. Bacon cooked, drained and minced
Maple Syrup frosting:
4 TBLE. Butter
2 TBLE. Maple Syrup
1 cup powder sugar
pinch of Sea Salt

Cook Bacon in a fry pan ( about 6 strips) reserve drippings and place in the fridge to solidify. Mince 1/4 c. bacon.
Beat butter and Bacon fat till light and creamy, add brown sugar and maple syrup, and beat well until combined.
Add egg and beat until incorperated.
Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together.
Add some flour and mix, then some of milk, continue to alternate dry and wet ingredients ending with the dry.
Mix until just combine, fold in Bacon, and taste and add more syrup, milk, or flour if needed.
Scoop into cup cake papers, bake at 350 for 18 to 22 minutes.
Maple Syrup frosting Directions:
Combine the syrup and Butter until combined. Add Sugar, a bit at a time whip at high speed until combine. Spread on cup cakes.. sprinkle crumbled bacon on top .. YUMMY!
