Cinnamon French Toast

Ingredients
6 thick slices of white bread, crusts removed
1 egg
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp butter for frying
Directions
1. Cut each slice of bread in half to make rectangles.
2. Beat the egg, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and then add the milk.
3. Melt the butter in the frying pan over medium heat.
4. Dip the bread into the sweet milk mixture, covering both sides.
5. Sprinkle one side of each piece of bread and gently fry, sugar side down, for 3 minutes or until golden
6. Sprinkle tops with a little sugar and flip over. Cook until golden.
7. Serve with yoghurt, fruit, maple syrup and a sprinkle of pecans.
