9 Layer Dip

1 to 2 bags of tortilla chips
1 large can of refried beans
1 container of sour cream
pico de gallo( if you use salsa, drain liquid)
guacamole
1 pound of ground beef
3 green onions
1 small can of olives
3 diced tomatoes
1 bag of mexican style grated cheese
2 packets of favorite taco meat seasoning. (Lawrys brand works best)
1 packet of green onion dip mix.
13 x 9 pan for dip.

1. Make sure to defrost 1 pound of ground meat, so it quickens your cooking time.
2. Cook meat, drain, and add 1 of the packets of taco seasoning. I use Lawry's brand, but any you like will work.
3. Let meat cool and get the rest of the ingredients ready.
4. Heat refried beans, add the second seaoning packet of taco seasoning and let it sit and blend, off the heat.
5. Now take out your sour cream and put the green onion dip mix in it.
6. Next dice all of the green onions and tomatoes, olives too if you don't have the already diced ones.
7. Start your dip with the refried beans covering the whole bottom of the 13x9 pan. Don't be stingy! cover the whole bottom and spread evenly.
8. Now spread ur sour cream mixture on top of the beans covering everything again, spread evenly.
9. Spread your guacamole, then pico de gallo. (this part looks messy, but dont worry, its supposed to be!) make sure everything is even and covering the whole pan.
10. Add ur chilled ground beef next, making sure to cover everything again.
11. Now for the toppings, in any order, spread the green onions, tomatoes and olives over the whole top.
12. Cover with grated cheese, and chill everything for about and hour or two. (or 15 minutes at least if u cant wait either...)
13. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips!

So this dip is my moms take on 7 layer dip, 9 layers is much more yummy!She has perfected it and this is the best recipe for this dish that you will ever come across.And EVERYONE always eats this dip like theres no tomorrow, so no worries on trying to get it in a container after you serve it! Chances are there wont be left overs!!
