Lasagna Florentine

1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
2 3/4 cups hot water
1/2 cup milk
1 box Hamburger HelperĀ® lasagna
1 box (9 oz) Green GiantĀ® frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed to drain
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)

1.) In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain.

2.) Stir in hot water, milk, uncooked Pasta and Sauce Mix. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

3.) Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Stir in spinach; sprinkle with cheese. Cover; simmer about 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.

When the word florentine is used in the title of a recipe, it usually means that spinach will be one of the ingredients.

For easier thawing and draining of frozen chopped spinach, use a steel mesh strainer or colander. Blot with paper towels to remove excess water.
