Asian Jerky Fried Rice

1 cup of uncooked white or brown rice
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp of soy sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, diced
1 shallots, diced
1 green onion, chopped
2 sheets of Bak Kwa, cut into squares
1 egg, lightly beaten
Recommended Products
1. To make fried rice, overnight cooked rice is preferred.
2. Add oil into medium frying skillet, set on high heat. Pour in garlic, shallots and fry till golden.
3. Add rice and continue stirring for 2 minutes. Lower heat and stir in both dark and regular soy sauce.
4. Create a crater in the middle of frying pan, add scrambled egg and let sit for 10 seconds. Fold in rice and continue to stir.
5. Sprinkle Jerky squares to your hearts’ content into pan, add green onions and cook for 3 more minutes.
You can also toss in shrimps, snow peas, diced carrots, hams, leftover chicken etc. whatever you can find in the refrigerator to make a complete meal.
