Ingredients
3/8 C. Garlic Sesame Marinade & Glaze Sauce (Starport 209R)
3 C. Rice, cooked
4 oz. Bay shrimp, cooked
6 oz. Bacon, 1/2†pieces
1/4 C. Red onions, diced
1 Egg, scrambled
4 oz. Peas & carrots, frozen
2 Tbsp. Green onion chopped
3 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
Directions
1. Cook rice per manufacturer's instruction and set cook rice aside.
2. Slice bacon into 1/2 inch pieces and set aside.
3. Rinse and drain frozen peas and carrots and bay shrimp.
4. Dice onions and chop green onions and set aside.
5. Scramble egg and set aside.
6. Heat a pan at high heat add 1 Tbsp. oil and slowly pour in scrambled egg and let egg fluff up before stirring. Remove and chop egg into small pieces.
7. Heat pan again at medium heat, add sliced bacon, stir to separate and cook until crisp, 3-5 minutes. Remove and blot off excess oil. Wipe off fat from pan.
8. Add 2 Tbsp. oil to hot pan, then onions. Let onions sear about 20 seconds without stirring, then add in rice and stir-fry until piping hot, 4-6 minutes.
9. Add in peas & carrots, bacon, bay shrimp and egg and stir-fry another minute.
10. Add in Garlic Sesame Marinade & Glaze Sauce and stir-fry until hot.
11. Toss in green onions, mix well, remove, divide into 2 servings and serve.

Well for once there it is. BUT too late.

Yum-o! (as Rachael would say) I love fried rice and bacon, but I've never thought to combine them before! I'd probably leave out the peas though.
