Cheesy Italian Ramen Noodle Bake

3 Bricks of Any Brand Ramen Noodles
(I used Nissin Brand)

2 Cups Chunky Spagetti Sauce
(I used Classico Brand "Italian Sausage with Peppers and Onions")

1 1/2 Cups of Shredded Cheese
(I used the Chipotle Cheedar Cheese from WinCo Foods)(Coby Jack, regular cheddar and others are fine too)

*Sour Cream if desired

1) Break up ramen noodle bricks a bit before opening the pouch they come in.

2) Open pouches and take out seasoning packets (you won't use them)

3) *At this time pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees

4) Boil noodles in 6 cups of water in a medium sauce pan for about 2 1/2 minutes... so they are "al dente" = slightly firm. We do not want mushy noodles!

5) Remove noodles from heat and turn burner off.
Drain water from the pan or use a colander.

6) Place noodles back in pan and add in 2 cups of a good quality chunky spagetti sauce. Stir well and let it sit for a minute or so.

7) Get a glass baking pan (8x8 or 9x9) and spray with a bit of non stick cooking spray.

8) Place sauce covered noodles in the pan and sprinkle the top with the shredded cheese.

9) Pop the pan in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 - 12 minutes.

10) Take out and let sit for one minute and enjoy.

11) Top with a small dollop of sour cream if desired!

Chef's Note & Story

Make sure to add stuff to this recipe! I know this sounds "Plain Jane" but I listed it so it would appeal to picky eaters. Add sliced olives, kernal corn, green beans etc... and you'll be pleasantly surprized!
