Madecasse (pronounced mah-day-kas) chocolate is one of the only fine chocolates made in all of Africa. We make our chocolate from scratch (bean to bar) in Madagascar. This means every step of our process happens close to the source and our cocoa beans only spend a month between harvest and manufacturing. It also means the people of Madagascar profit more (400% more) from their own natural resources.
This was a nice treat.
Good dark chocolate
Its like artisan chocolate. A little bite at a time to melt/savor the nibs & sea salt. Very disappointing once you realize you finished the bar- but it took you an hour to do it lol. Will be buying this item for the 'all about me' nights where I'm enjoying an old movie or a good book. Would take this over any commercial chocolate anytime!!
