I love cooking everything in my grandmother's cast iron skillet. It's probably over 100 years old, and seasoned beyond belief. I love thinking about how many meals were served with love out of this skillet, and I love cooking in it too. It means so much... and is the most versatile tool in my kitchen! You may not have your grandmother's cast iron, but if I didn't, I would invest in a Le Creuset skillet. They will be around for your grandkids to cook with!
