About:

I'm writing the story of my life as I go. I'm using ink - not because I'm fearless, but because I know my mistakes are part of the design.

I can be so mean when I wanna be, I am capable of really anything. I’m just a girl, in the world. I don’t really use song lyrics to express myself…

To know me is to love me… or hate me… usually not anywhere in the middle. I grew up in Cleveland, OH & Whitesburg, KY. This means I can walk barefoot through gravel and not flinch, but wouldn’t be caught dead in a black dress without a hot little heel… I know how to hit the ground in a drive-by, just remember Southern girls know where to hide the bodies. I do have a Southern drawl, though I probably talk to fast for you to hear it. I am notoriously unavailable by phone, but I can text faster than you can talk. I believe in the power of God and in the power of alcohol; I don’t think we should test our limits with either. I bore easily but I don’t need someone else to entertain me. I like to use “…” alot. I enjoy being a contradiction to every expectation you have of me. I don’t mean to be difficult; I’m just drawn that way.

I love to cook foods that I won’t eat. I don’t season to taste, I season to smell… and it’s spot on. I think salads are just a mode of transportation for croutons. I never sleep sometimes. I can be entirely focused and yet completely distracted all in the same moment.

I love to say what’s on my mind, though I try to bite my tongue sometimes, people take things way too personally. I’m me, just a better version, but not always. I believe in miracles, but I also know that sometimes, you have to put on your big girl panties and go make your own miracle.
That’s me, in a nutshell, at least for today.
