Bandar Foods started when Dan first walked into an Indian restaurant and asked for hot sauce because his food wasn't spicy enough. He discovered that Indian dishes use chutneys to flavor food, and found these products amazingly tasty but baffling to use. So he tried pureeing them, and a hit was born. Then the idea really took shape: Pureeing the chutneys down, adding some heat, and putting them in a squeeze bottle that Americans know how to use - like ketchup. And instead of marketing them as "flavors of India" sauces, market them as condiments that deserve a place on the shelf next to mayonnaise and mustard. Since then more products have been added to the Bandar Foods repertoire, like naan chips and veggie snacks to give consumers even more options for exploring new flavors.
