Ingredients
2 Fresh Bundles Mustard Greens
2 Fresh Bundles Collard Greens
2 Fresh Bundles Turnip Greens
1 Bag Fresh Spinach Greens
1 pound Fresh Pork Feet (smoked optional)
1 pound fresh pig tail
1 pound hickory bacon
1 large Onions Chopped
1 Potato diced
3 Carrots Sliced thin
1 Turnip peeled halfed and Sliced
1/2 Teas. nutmeg
1/2 Teas. cummin
seasoned salt to taste
Long Grain Rice
3 Tomatoes diced
1 large onion diced
Directions
Wash and clean all green in a strainer break off all leave and disguard stems. peel onions, turnip and potato.
In a large pot filled 3/4 of the way full with cold water, bring water to a hard boil put in all greens and cook 20 Minutes. take out and put into slow cooker, clean meat and add to slow cooker, cut bacon into halfs and add to slow cooker, then add onion, potato,turnip, carrots and spices cook for 6 hours usually I do it at night while I sleep, an hour before the slow cook is done stir all together, in separte pan cook your rice, arange a plate with white rice and pour greens over rice not too much juice, sprinkle with diced tomatoes and onions, and Enjoy.
