Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks) butter
3/4 cup + 1/4 cup powdered sugar separated
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and 3/4 cup powdered sugar. Slowly add flour and vanilla until thoroughly mixed.

Form into 1" balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet spaced evenly. Bake for 12 minutes or until edges turn golden. Sprinkle cookies with remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar.
